The Digital Piano features the Graded-Hammer Compact keyboard with 88 keys that are weighted to feel like a grand piano. The P-225 is also equipped with the sounds of Yamaha's CFX concert grand piano. Thanks to Virtual Resonance Modeling Lite, the resonances created when playing a concert grand piano are authentically and multifaceted simulated.

Realistic playing feel
At Yamaha, we know how important the feel of the buttons is when playing. The feel for the weight of the keys allows expressive performances and captures the true essence of piano playing. For this reason, the Digital Piano has been equipped with the Graded-Hammer Compact keyboard with 88 weighted keys, specially designed to create the playing comfort of a large piano. The sound of the P-225 is similar to that of a grand piano as it uses samples recorded by Yamaha's flagship, the CFX.
A variety of useful functions
With this digital piano, endless possibilities are open: It includes 24 carefully selected instrument sounds, including piano, electric piano, strings and harpsichord, which allow for high flexibility when playing. Other features include a useful metronome function to stay in beat, a recording function for one-handed practice and a fun rhythm accompaniment, ideal for learning genre-specific rhythms.
The Digital Piano can be connected via USB to a PC or smart device. Alternatively, it can be connected to a PA system via the AUX out cable, ideal for on the go at gigs or concerts. It is compatible with headphones, a sustain pedal or a 3 pedal unit. In addition, there is the possibility to use the optional UD-BT01, a wireless Bluetooth MIDI adapter that allows the digital piano e.g. B. with the app 'Smart Pianist'.
