The mirrorless Nikon Z 6II with 24.5 megapixel full frame sensor
The Nikon Z 6II is part of a mirrorless camera system that opens a new chapter in the field of full-frame cameras (FX format). The central feature of the Z series is the Z-bayonet, which opens up with its extra-large diameter of 55 mm and a mount size reduced to only 16 mm, opens up possibilities of the lens design and creates a previously unmatched proximity of the lens to the sensor - for the ultimate level of light yield and image quality.
It also impresses with breakthrough speed: Its 24.5 megapixel full-frame CMOS BSI sensor is supported by a dual EXPEED 6 processor that doubles available performance, from ultra-precise tracking of hybrid autofocus with eyes, face and animal detection AF to huge buffer capacity, 4K UHD videos, and series with up to 124 uncompressed 12-bit RAX. w images or to 200 JPEG images in full resolution.
Thanks to its ideal ergonomics, it fits perfectly in the hand and thanks to its electronic viewfinder with 3.69 million pixels a unique view of the motif. In particularly dynamic situations, the integrated electronic 5-axis image stabiliser (sensor shift VR) compensates for unwanted movements so effectively that longer exposure times are possible by up to 5 light value levels.
With two slots for XQD/CFExpress and SD cards, the Z 6II is able to quickly write and read large amounts of data. It is just as easy to share the stunning shots with the world: Thanks to the SnapBridge and built-in Wi-Fi, the camera allows permanent connection to a smart device as well as transferring images and films to computers.
