The standard thick foam mattress, effective ventilation and reliable mosquito protection offer the best conditions for wonderful nights in the outdoors.
Optional awning - practical luxury
The original awning of Owen roof tents provides comfort, especially in the rain. Jackets and shoes can be found in the "underfloor", which also serves as a dressing area. Klaus-Günther Ökoofreak from the development team recommends this luxury.
Clever construction
The characteristic roof shape of Owen roof tents offers plenty of headroom and ensures good water drainage. They withstand strong showers and wind, but in constant strong wind (>wind speed 5), the team recommends an alternative sleeping place. All OWEN roof tents have an anti-condensation mat to avoid moisture problems.
Strong, durable, safe
High-quality polyester (420D "Oxford") and a strong tarpaulin made of PVC material (680g/1200D) make camping comfortable and safe. A sturdy zip protects the tent. OWEN recommends driving no faster than 110 km/h to reduce fuel consumption.

Step-by-step construction from Owen two in olive green
Will fit (almost) any car - Owen Two Roof Tent
Our Owen Two roof tents can be easily mounted on almost all cars. You only need a roof rack so that the tent can be firmly attached.
The rest of the mounting parts are included.
Exception: The roof load ("dynamic minimum load capacity") must be 75 kg. In addition, Owen roof tents only fit cross braces with a maximum width of 80 mm and a maximum height of 38 mm
Remove transport lock - simple closure
The roof tent is protected from wind and weather with our robust 680 g/1200D PVC UV protection cover.
It is well attached, but easy to open and store in the boot. Simply open the zip all around and remove the cover.
Unfold the tent - with the help of the integrated ladder
High-quality, finely and firmly woven polyester with a hydrostatic head of 3,500 mm (quality: 420 D "Oxford") for the tent roof, the actual sleeping tent and the optional awning (quality: 420 D "Oxford", rip-stop) make camping even in adverse circumstances pleasant, largely cosy and safe. The ladder helps with assembly and entry.

Thanks to the characteristic roof shape of the original OWEN roof tents, the headroom indoors is very generous. At the same time, water drains well. The roof load must be at least 75 kg, "bracket" roof bars are not suitable.
Owen roof tents fit cross braces up to 80mm wide and 38mm high. Mounting on factory cross braces and glass roofs is not recommended by us. Can be used on cars with sunroof but should not be opened.
Minimum 25" rail spacing required.
